Latrice Armstrong is a native of Dallas, Texas.  She was born July 24, 1965 to Patricia Ann Pierson and the late Robert Tanner,
also both from Dallas.  She has two younger brothers, Robert and Germaine Pierson.

 Ms. Armstrong is a 1983 graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. Upon graduation she continued her education at El Centro
 College in Dallas, where she studied Jazz Dance.  In 1987 she met James B. Armstrong, and they married in December of 1990.


Ms. Armstrong, as a military wife, has traveled and lived in Ft. Stewart GA (twice), Germany and Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.  Her work
 history consist of seven years with the Department of Defense as a Administrative Support Assistant with an emphasis on medical terminology
 and procedures in places overseas such as Manheim Germany, Fairbanks Alaska and several other places within the United States.


While in Alaska, she joined the First African American Methodist Episcopal church. Pastor Armstrong received her license to minister from
 the First African Methodist Episcopal Church on May 8, 2000, by the 5th District Presiding Elder, Elder Casson.


Pastor Armstrong remained at First A.M.E Church as a third year Licentiate where she served as part of the Pastors Ministerial staff,
Armor bearer, Women Missionary, Intercessory Prayer Team, Adult Choir Member, sang on the Praise and Worship Team, and the Youth Outreach
 Ministry.  During those years she was appointed by her then Pastor Carolyn Cooper as Adult Choir Director, Director of the Youth Department,
 Youth Choir and Superintendent of schools which oversees the spiritual development of the First A.M.E. youth. As Superintendent Pastor Armstrong
 directed several youth ministries assistants in developing programs and lessons to advance the knowledge of the youth in both the Doctrine of
 First A.M.E Church and most importantly the word of God. 


In September 2003 Pastor Armstrong was ordained Elder by Bishop Carolyn Cooper Presiding Elder and Founder of Greater Works Christian Center, Fairbanks, Alaska.
  On October 5, 2003 the charge was given to her husband Pastor James B. Armstrong and herself to Pastor and lay the foundation for Greater Works Christian Center
 Columbia, SC.  Pastor Armstrong served faithfully as Co-Pastor until August 2005 when the Lord Spoke Clearly to Pastor James Armstrong with guidance, direction,
and the Vision for what is now known as New Harvest Christian Center.  Pastor Latrice Armstrong is currently serving as the Pastor of Ministries at New Harvest Christian Center.
