Dr. Latrice Armstrong has made a profound impact on communities both domestic and abroad. Using faith, philanthropy and wherewithal she has contributed to the improvement of countless lives. With over 20 years of ministry, Dr. Armstrong is a scholar in the school of divinity.
During her freshman class of ministry under the ordinance of 5th District Presiding Elder Casson of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Dr. Armstrong made history as being one of five females to receive their license and ordination to minister the gospel. Since then she has used her platform to minister the Gospel across the United States preaching the message: God still Loves, God still Heals and God still cares. Understanding the anointing on her life Dr. Latrice began to challenge social and spiritual norms by pushing non-profit organizations. Aiding in issues that correlate with church and state; curating solutions such as Mother Made the Difference; a concept that honors high school students who are products of single family homes, awarding scholarships to those who have excelled scholastically, athletically and spiritually. Dr. Armstrong is also a standing board member of Carolina Sunshine for Children; a non-profit organization that grants wishes for terminally ill children. Presenting a combined total of over $600,000 in charitable funds and granting over 1,000 wishes for children and their families.
Dr. Armstrong’s capacity to affect change extends beyond civil and expands to a more personal level under the ministry New Harvest Christian Center. Here Dr. Latrice serves as Pastor and Co-founder alongside her husband for over 16 years. It is under this umbrella that Nation Changers Early Childhood Development was birthed. A child care service that implemented Christian values to ages 6 months to four years. In addition to sculpting the minds of the next generation, Dr. Latrice also believes in igniting the hearts of those that are present. As the author of Surviving the Journey, a Christian woman’s guide to wholeness. Dr. Armstrong considers her concentration in ministry: Women Empowerment. With a passion to show women their home is their first ministry, Dr. Armstrong founded Pur Autre Vie LLC a real estate company designed to afford Christian families the opportunity to own their own homes. Within three years she has contributed $6 million to Christian homeowners awarding her a Silver Level Nationalist in years 2016 and 2017.
Dr. Armstrong’s contributions suggests that she is a Believer who is willing to leap over bounds of inequality, scale walls of spiritual divide and out run the horsemen of discontent and subpar living. Dr. Latrice Armstrong believes perseverance, initiative, and intellectual creativity is necessary to advance the Kingdom of God. Her anthem “Saving Souls in my Stilettos” her motto: “Don’t just go through, grow through!”
